Sen. Ted Cruz is circulating a video on Election Day to rally the conservative faithful and tout his role in campaigning for Republican candidates this cycle.
The feel-good video by the Texas Republican firebrand and 2016 presidential hopeful features footage of him campaigning, and news clippings of his appearances across the country. Then Cruz speaks directly to the camera.
“If conservatives show up and vote, we’re going to retake the U.S. Senate. We’re going to retire Harry Reid has majority leader,” he says. “So let me encourage you, go vote today.”
Republicans are favored to gain seats in the House and win control of the Senate, according to election analysts.
