Apple’s inaccurate and frustrating new Maps program isn’t the only problem the company is dealing with in the rollout of its new operating system for the iPad and iPhone (iOS 6).

As originally pointed out by Swiss news outlets on Thursday, the new “clock” icon displayed on the iPad after users upgrade to the new iOS 6 operating system bears a striking resemblance to the iconic design found on all the clocks at the Swiss railway system’s stations, originally designed in 1955 by acclaimed engineer and designer Hans Hilfiker.

Now SBB, the company that holds the clock face trademark and Mondaine Group, a watchmaking firm that licensed the design for its own products, are both considering challenging Apple over the rights to the iPad clock, Reuters reported Friday morning.
