The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to consider Arizona’s rules requiring people to show proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote for federal elections, Reuters reports.

In April, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the requirements conflicted with the National Voter Registration Act. But it upheld a portion of the same rules requiring a form of photo identification at the polls.
