A survey recently released by neuromarketing firm Buyology, Inc., revealed that Democrats and Republicans vary not simply in policy, but also in favorite brands.

While the survey, conducted through a combination of methods, found certain common ground — both parties preferred Coca-Cola, Visa, Google, and Apple, in their respective categories — there were many divergences in other categories. For instance, Democrats’ favorite brands include Jeep, Wii, Wendy’s, and the NFL, while Republicans prefer BMW, XBox, Subway, and the MLB.
