SpaceX’s first official cargo re-supply mission to the International Space Station is go for launch on October 7 at 8:35 p.m. EDT, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk tweeted Thursday.

The mission — which will see SpaceX’s unmanned Dragon capsule blasting off on its Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida — comes five months after SpaceX completed the first-ever rendezvous of a private spacecraft. The Dragon is scheduled to dock with the space station on October 10 and deliver about 1,000 pounds of supplies and return 734 pounds back to Earth, according to NASA. This will be the first of 12 resupply missions for the SpaceX Dragon.
