The Family Research Council is afraid the GOP is abandoning the battle against same-sex marriage. In a fundraising appeal sent to FRC supporters Tuesday, the group complains that a recent RNC issues survey sent to Republicans recently was “missing…questions on gay marriage.”

“The pro-marriage side continues to win in state after state when referendums are placed on the ballot, but the Republican Party doesn’t want to talk about it?” the email reads.

The FRC’s legislative action arm is raising money off the concerns and promising “key FRC Action staff will be attending the platform week meetings for the Republican National Convention” to push the GOP to include anti-gay marriage language in the party platform.

Earlier this month, Politico reported that key leaders in the GOP voices were ignoring Democratic plans to include support for same sex marriage in their platform.
