Fox News anchor Shep Smith thinks CNN’s Don Lemon should have just said no to the Blizzardmobile.

Lemon earned the derision of comedian Jon Stewart and much of Twitter for patrolling the streets of New York on Monday night in an elaborate vehicle while covering a winter storm that ultimately didn’t hit the region as hard as was expected.

On Tuesday, Smith took a swipe at Lemon and dished out some advice for covering breaking news during an appearance on the Fox Business Network show “Kennedy.”

“If they told [me] to drive a ‘Blizzardmobile,’ as some of our friends across town had to do that, I would trust my gut and say, ‘No, thanks,'” Smith told the former MTV VJ Kennedy, who hosts the program.

The conversation also had somewhat of an uncomfortable moment when Kennedy heaped praise on the longtime Fox anchor.

“I have to tell you, Shep, whether it’s a war, a celebrity death, or some cataclysmic weather event, I get down on my knees and I’m thankful for your existence,” Kennedy said.

“The thought of you on your knees is a wonderful one,” Smith said.

The newsman also offered Kennedy some advice on how to succeed on her new program: “Wear less clothes.”
