Senate Moves Forward With Nomination Of Todd Jones As ATF Chief

The Senate on Wednesday voted invoke cloture and move forward with President Barack Obama’s nomination of Todd Jones as head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives by a margin of 60 to 40.

Jones currently serves as acting director of ATF–a post he has held since September 2011. He also serves at the United States Attorney for Minnesota.
