Sen. Mark Pryor (D-AR) is one of just three Democrats left in the Senate who haven’t endorsed legalizing same sex marriage, but he told reporters on Tuesday he hasn’t changed his mind.

“No, I’m opposed to gay marriage and have been,” he said.

Pryor has suggested in recent days that he might be open to expanding benefits to same-sex couples, however, depending on how the Supreme Court rules on the Defense of Marriage Act, which bars the federal government from recognizing gay marriages from states where they’re legal. Pryor is up for re-election in 2014 and is considered one of the most vulnerable Democratic incumbents in the Senate.
