Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said Sunday that he intends to introduce an amendment to limit high-capacity magazines when background check legislation is brought to the Senate floor in April.
In an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Blumenthal said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) had specifically said that an amendment on gun magazines could be put to a vote.
“So, there will be votes, and I intend to spearhead that amendment on high-capacity magazines,” Blumenthal said.
