Former Sen. Scott Brown (R) went canoeing with a local sheriff as he continues to run for Senate in New Hampshire. So a tracker from the Democratic opposition research group American Bridge got another canoe and followed him.

The dogged pursuit as Brown rowed down the Contoocook River with Merrimack County Sheriff Scott Hilliard was photographed by Concord, New Hampshire Patch.

American Bridge press secretary Jesse Lehrich weighed in on the tracker’s rush to follow.

Brown, formerly a senator from Massachusetts, is running to defeat Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH). The TPM Polltracker average gives Shaheen a 2.8 point advantage over Brown.
