Sen. Scott Brown confirmed to the Boston Globe on Monday that his 23-year-old daughter is ensured under a provision of the health care reform law that allows young adults to stay on their parents’ plans. Brown has voted to repeal health care reform.

The Warren campaign called Brown a hypocrite for wanting to repeal a law he also takes advantage of. “He says he likes being able to keep his daughter on the family health insurance plan; what he doesn’t say is that he voted to stop other parents from doing the same,” Warren spokesperson Alethea Harney said. “Scott Brown spells health care: H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y.’’

Brown says he’s not being hypocritical. “I’ve said right from the beginning, that if there are things that we like, we should take advantage of them and bring them back here to Massachusetts,’’ he said.
