Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA), a devoted Romney supporter who even shares the same spokesman as the presidential candidate, told a Boston radio show that the GOP hopeful should release his tax returns once they’re ready.

“He’s in a category, a lot of those folks are in categories that we don’t really understand,” Brown said. “And certainly he has to release his returns. I understand he’s going to do that like everybody else when they become ready and available in April.”

He added that Romney’s estimated nine-figure net worth was “a different world from me.”

Romney has indicated he will release his taxes around April, though he is noncommittal on whether he will make public multiple years worth of returns. Democrats and Republican rivals alike have been pressuring him to put the documents out immediately.
