A scathing report by the UK’s Met Police and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, released Friday, details the sexual abuse allegations against late BBC host Jimmy Savile, who is accused of perpetrating decades of abuse against young girls and boys.
According to the report, Savile committed 214 criminal offenses across 28 police jurisdictions. Nearly 75 percent of those reported crimes were against victims under the age of 18. The victims’ ages ranged from eight to 47 years old, according to the report. And 82 percent of the victims are female.
