SC Poll: Gingrich By Six Over Romney

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has surged ahead of the Saturday’s Republican primary vote in South Carolina, moving past former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in the last four days. In a new Clemson University poll shows Gingrich with 32 percent to Romney’s 26. Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) gets 11 percent while former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum sees nine. Twenty percent of the sample say they are undecided with the vote less than 17 hours away.
