Desperately trying to stay relevant, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is leveling serious charges against manufacturing giant General Electric. In an entry on her Facebook page, she calls the company “the poster child of corporate welfare and crony capitalism” and points to the widely reported fact that it “pays virtually no corporate income taxes despite earning worldwide profits of $14.2 billion last year.”
The perpetual possible candidate was quick to enter a disclaimer on her post though, writing that she grew up “with great respect” for the company since her grandfather worked there and it was through him that she even got to meet then-spokesman Ronald Reagan.
