Speaking at a rally in Hilton Head, South Carolina, the former Senator referred to the recent assassination of Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, major Iranian nuclear scientist.

“We had a nuclear scientist today that was killed accidentally,” Santorum said wryly. However, he denied that this was a sign that the Obama administration was involved – as he says it should be – in covert operations against the Islamic Republic. Discussing the prospect of an Iranian nuke he said,  “We have some country out there trying to stop that from happening.  But it’s not us, it’s not us.”
