On Meet the Press, Rick Santorum said Mitt Romney assumed he would coast to victory in Michigan. Instead, he said, despite the fact that Romney has vastly outspent him in Michigan, they’re still neck and neck. He attributes the tight race in Michigan to his positive economic message about jobs and manufacturing. Conversely, Santorum said Romney’s economic message is timid and designed by lobbyists.
