Ryan: In The Beginning, We Were Winning Medicare Debate

Paul Ryan told Wisconsin radio host Charles Sykes Monday that when he joined the GOP ticket as Mitt Romney’s running mate, he and Romney were “winning” the Medicare debate. But he said President Obama has put up ads “literally telling falsehoods” about his Medicare plan. 

A recent poll shows that more than half of registered voters nationwide prefer Obama over Romney to handle Medicare.
