Paul Ryan launched a new ad Wednesday for his House seat back in Wisconsin. As with other ads Ryan has run, at the same time as he is running for vice president, the spot only briefly shows the logo for his House campaign.
“Janna and I tell our kids that America is a place where if you work hard and play by the rules, you can get ahead,” Ryan says, as his children are seen in the background on a home swing set, and his wife looking on. “It’s our duty to save the American Dream for our kids. So it’s time to stop the back-room deals for special interests and the politically connected in Washington. You’re sick and tired of it, and I am too.”
“Every American deserves the opportunity to achieve and earn their own success. It’s time to put hardworking taxpayers back in charge. After all, it’s your government.”
