Russian news channel Rossiya 24 posted a video online on Thursday showing a glimpse of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the alleged Boston Marathon bomber, during his first public court appearance on Wednesday.
The video, which was taken down Thursday afternoon, is a kind of picture-in-picture shot. It shows a monitor that is streaming video from inside the courtroom in federal court in Boston. According to The Boston Globe, the Rossiya 24 reporter narrating the report said, in Russian, that “[p]eople could watch Tsarnaev’s court appearance from the special live stream.”
