News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch called presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s stance on LGBT rights “almost fascist” on Sunday after hearing her first major campaign speech in New York City.
Murdoch appeared to be talking about one line in Clinton’s speech on Saturday: “We should ban discrimination against LGBT Americans and their families so they can live, learn, marry, and work just like everybody else.”
“HillaryNo Promises outlaw free speech about LGBT,” he tweeted the next day. “What next? Sounds almost fascist.”
The media magnate did not elaborate, nor did he explain his used of the word “HillaryNo” to refer to the former Secretary of State, a term he used in other tweets accusing her of “talking nonsense” and bashing “bankers.”
HillaryNo Surely smart enough to know she was talking nonsense at yesterday’s yesterday.
