Ahead of a campaign event in Virginia Thursday where Mitt Romney plans to go after Obama’s energy policy, the Romney campaign has released a video comparing Obama’s promise of a new energy policy in 2008 with the failure of Solyndra. “I’ll invest $150 billion over the next decade in affordable, renewable sources of energy,” Obama said at the Democratic Convention in 2008. In Virginia, Romney will appear with Gov. Bob McDonnell to discuss the Obama administration’s position on drilling off the Virginia coast.
