Republicans in several of America’s Pacific island protectorates cast their votes for Mitt Romney Friday. From CNN:
Romney won the Northern Mariana Islands caucuses early Saturday, picking up nine delegates as well as his second victory of the weekend in a distant U.S. territory located on the other side of the International Date Line. … Earlier this week, Romney’s son Matt campaigned in Saipan, the territory’s largest island, and in Guam, which also held caucuses Saturday. Romney picked up all nine delegates from that event as well.
Delegates will be selected in another American territory, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Saturday. Kansas will also be casting votes.
