Mitt Romney slammed President Obama’s “foolishness” at a campaign event in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, taking issue with remarks he made defending public investments in infrastructure on Friday.

“President Obama attacks success and therefore under President Obama we have less success, and I will change that,” railed a passionate Romney.

Romney seized on a specific line the president said at a campaign event in Virginia on Friday: “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

“Mr. President, [a business owner] built that business, the government did not build it,” Romney said to applause.

The quote takes on a whole new meaning, however, if you read the sentences around it.
