Mitt Romney said that the “mantle of leadership” has fallen to the United States and advocated his position of peace through strength — which he has advocated on the trail.
Our purpose is to make sure the world is peaceful. We want a peaceful planet. We want people to enjoy their lives and know they are going to have a prosperous life. The mantle of leadership for that has fallen on to America. It’s an honor we have it. But for us to be able to promote those principles of peace requires us to be strong.
