Former US Ambassador to China and Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman didn’t take too kindly to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s tough talk on China. “If I’m President of the United States, I’m not going to continue to talk about how important China is and how we have to get along,” Romney said. “I believe those things. They’re very important. We do have to get along. But I’m also going to tell the Chinese it’s time to stop. You have to play by the rules. I will not let you kill American jobs any longer.”

That’s all well and good, said Huntsman. But it’s going to start a trade war.

“Who does that hurt most?” Huntsman said. “It hurts the small businesses and the small exporters are who trying to get back on their feet in this country in a time when the nation can least afford a trade war.
