The Boston Globe is reporting that GOP candidate Mitt Romney is on pace to raise between $11 and $13 million in the latest fundraising quarter, a considerably lower amount than the $18.2 million he brought in during the previous quarter.
Romney aides have predicted that Rick Perry will raise more funds than their candidate, even though the Texan has been in the race only six weeks.
The fund-raising quarter ends on Friday, though the campaigns have until October 15th to file their reports with the FEC.
