Mitt Romney will host a fundraiser with Donald Trump Tuesday evening at the Trump International Hotel. According to internal campaign documents obtained by Las Vegas Sun, the fundraising goal for the event is $2 million. Part of the pitch to donors included the so-called “3-2-1” plan to donors:
3 — Win back the three “historically GOP” states — Indiana, Virginia and North Carolina, worth 39 electoral votes (gets him to 219)
2–Win the two big swing states George W. Bush won — Ohio and Florida, worth 47 electoral votes (266)
1 — Win any of the so-called “wild-card” states — NH, NM, NV, IA, CO, WI, MI, PA
