Romney: Fed Shouldn’t Try To Boost Economy

Friday’s weak jobs report has prompted speculation that the Federal Reserve will attempt another round of quantitative easing, buying up bonds in order to pump more money into the flagging economy. Mitt Romney, however, told CNBC that he hopes they sit tight despite recent troubles.

“I don’t think were looking for more, a QE3, if you will,” he said. “I don’t think that will have any more impact than QE2 did.”
