Romney: Deregulation But Not Zero Regulation

Mitt Romney is giving a town hall in Iowa. He’s asked by an audience member for his view on getting rid of regulations, and responds:

“Sometimes in our party, I think we misspeak. We say we’re for deregulation. But we don’t want zero regulation. I want to get our regulation down to be supportive of industry, rather than be overwhelming and burdening of industry.”
