Mitt Romney defended accusations that he flip-flopped on gay rights, abortion, and gun rights. Romney took issue with the list, but admitted changing his mind on abortion with this explanation: ‘I ran in a pro-choice state, but when a bill came to my desk that would destroy embryos, I simply could not sign on to take human life. I vetoed that bill. I went to the Boston Globe and explained to them why I’m pro-life.’
