Mitt Romney has canceled an appearance in Pueblo, Colorado Sunday after a small plane crashed at the Pueblo airport Sunday morning, reports the Denver Post.

An experimental plane crashed at the airport around 9 a.m. Sunday,The Pueblo Chieftain reported. Officials told the newspaper that one person was aboard the plane when it crashed and was killed.
Romney, making his first campaign visit to Colorado in a month, had been scheduled to speak at the Weisbrod Aircraft Museum on the airport’s grounds. He was expected to speak around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Thousands of supporters were expected to attend.
