Mitt Romney has $7 million in his coffers after raising $11.5 million in February according to his campaign, an improvement from his $6.4 million fundraising haul in January.

After blowing through nearly $19 million in January, Romney’s camapign appears to have stabilized its spending. It ended January with $7.7 million, suggesting the campaign is pacing itself for a long primary process. One thing to watch is how willing the campaign and its super PAC allies are to go big in the South this month, where there are several upcoming contests expected to heavily favor Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.
