Romney’s bus tour had to change the location of one if its stops in Pennsylvania Saturday due to a large number of protesters who showed up at a WaWa gas station where he was originally scheduled to speak, reports ABC News. Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell had shown up to the gas station ahead of Romney and spoke to a crowd of 150 to 200 protestors.

“My surrogate is former Gov. Rendell, who said we could win Pennsylvania,” Romney said at another WaWa three miles from the original stop. “I’m happy to hear that, so we’re happy to be here and see some folks here.”

Romney was referencing a “Bloomberg View” interview in which Rendell, an Obama supporter, said the president would not win large swaths of the state. Romney spent about 10 minutes at the new stop, speaking with about 50 supporters, before getting back on the bus.
