The Romney campaign announced its Hispanic leadership team, “Juntos Con Romney,” Wednesday morning to “help guide the campaign on important Hispanic initiatives and outreach.” The team will led by former Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez, former Attorney General of Puerto Rico Jose Fuentes and former Administrator of the Small Business Administration Hector Barreto. The team includes Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Sen. Marco Rubio, all considered potential VP picks, among others.

In an email from the Romney campaign, the chairmen and other team members offer critiques of President Obama’s handling of the economy.

“The Hispanic community has been especially hard-hit by President Obama’s policies,” Gutierrez said in the email. “Together with Mitt Romney, we will be able to do what President Obama has failed to do: fix the economy, create jobs, and get our country on the right track again.”
