Mitt Romney accuses President Obama of allowing China to steal American jobs and promises a tougher approach in a new ad released Monday. Specifically, the ad claims there were seven separate instances where Obama could have stood up to China and did not — and that his policies cost America 2 million jobs.
“Fewer Americans are working today than when President Obama took office,” the narrator says. “It doesn’t have to be this way… Seven times Obama could have taken action. Seven times he said no.”
“Obama had years to stand up to China,” the narrator concludes. “We can’t afford four more.”
