Forget the next Ronald Reagan, Rick Santorum is telling Michigan voters they may just have the reincarnation of America’s first president on their hands.
In the latest bio spot running statewide on TV in Michigan, pictures of Santorum and stirring music plays beneath silent quotes from conservative leaders and media clips praising the former Pennsylvania senator. The second quote on the list stands out the most.
“‘Santorum is the next George Washington.’ – Glenn Beck” the ad reads.
The campaign called the ad “new” in a press release Feb. 14, but the Santorum campaign YouTube account shows it was uploaded on Jan. 20.
