Richard Sherman isn’t sweating John McCain’s swipe.

The star cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks drew a ton of criticism for his recent postgame outburst — McCain labeled him a “loudmouth” — but he doesn’t view the Super Bowl as a matchup between good guys and bad guys.

“I don’t see it that way. Maybe in [McCain’s] circle, but I’m sure he’s said worse than that,” Sherman told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.

Sherman has been at the center of a media firestorm since his intense nationally televised interview that followed Seattle’s dramatic, Super Bowl-clinching win over the San Francisco 49ers earlier this month.

Ever the sports fan, McCain made it known that he doesn’t think much of Sherman’s brash team and that he likes the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl.
