Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) will attend a closed-door “Tea Party Legislative Forum” on Capitol Hill later Tuesday to discuss what organizers say is “the ongoing targeting of conservative groups by the IRS, the future of immigration reform, and the implementation of the failed Obamacare legislation,” according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Tea party members have been tough critics of Rubio lately, criticizing him for his central role in immigration reform.

“The resurgence of the Tea Party movement is evidenced by the outpouring of support at our meeting earlier this year, where over 20 members of Congress and more than 40 staff members gathered to discuss the challenges facing conservatives,” Todd Cefaratti, founder of TheTeaParty.net, said in a statement to the Tampa Bay Times.
