Report: Pentagon To Cut $450 Billion

The Pentagon is looking to shrink military spending by $450 billion, below current targets, the New York Times reports. That will include dropping to 490,000 troops over the next 10 years. President Obama is expected to unveil the cuts with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Thursday.
