The National Republican Senatorial Committee is tapping a new finance director following a disappointing fundraising start earlier this year, the Washington Examiner reported Wednesday.
Shelly Carson will now serve as a consultant to the committee, which acts to elect Republican Senate candidates around the country. Carson, who’s been on the job since January, will still receive a salary, however.
Heather Larrison, president of the Washington, D.C.-based Larrison Group, will take over for Carson, according to the Examiner.
