Facebook will introduce a new video ad unit by April 2013, according to a report from Advertising Age on Tuesday, citing advertising industry executives briefed about the social networking company’s plans. The new Facebook video ads are said to be “autoplay,” by default, that is, they will automatically begin playing when a user visits a page with an ad on it, the executives told Ad Age. Facebook’s video ads will also reportedly be around 15 seconds in length. Read the full report over at Ad Age
