Report: Dem Rep To Run In Mass. Special Election For Kerry’s Seat

Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA) will run in the upcoming special election in Massachusetts to fill the Senate seat expected to be vacated by secretary of state nominee John Kerry, the Washington Post reported Friday.

Lynch will face off against Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA), who has won the backing of both the state and national Democratic establishment.
