Major League Baseball will look to hand down suspensions to 20 players for performance-enhancing drug use after a founder of a Miami-area clinic agreed to cooperate in the league’s investigation, according to a report published Tuesday by ESPN.com.

The suspensions will reportedly include Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankes and Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers, a pair of All-Stars who have each won the most valuable player award. ESPN.com reported that the suspensions could be dealt in the coming weeks.

MLB believes it has what it needs to issue the suspensions after Tony Bosch, the founder of the now-defunct South Florida clinic at the center of the performance-enhancing drug scandal, agreed to cooperate. According to ESPN.com, if the suspensions are upheld, it would make for the largest performance-enhancing drug scandal in the history of American sports.
