Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is currently negotiating a settlement in a lawsuit that alleges the tea party champion’s 2012 presidential campaign stole an email list of home school families in Iowa, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Wednesday.

According to the Star Tribune, Bachmann went to Iowa on Monday to meet with legal counsel for Barb Heki, the woman alleging that the Republican’s campaign stole the proprietary list from her computer to contact home-schoolers in the Hawkeye State.
