Asiana Airlines is considering legal action after the National Transportation Safety Board mistakenly confirmed four false and racially offensive names of the pilots of Flight 214 to an Oakland TV station, which subsequently reported the names, NBC News reported.

The airline would file suit against both the NTSB and the television station for damaging the reputation of the four pilots and company, a public relations representative for Asiana Airlines told NBC.

Both organizations have apologized for the mistake and NTSB said a summer intern was the one who erroneously confirmed the names.

It is unclear what specific legal action the company is taking.
