Report: Al Qaeda No. 2 In House Hit By U.S. Drone Strike

The AP reports:

Pakistani intelligence officials say they have evidence al-Qaida’s second in command was in a house hit by a U.S. drone strike but they do not know whether he was killed.

 

U.S. officials have said they were targeting Abu Yahya al-Libi in Monday’s strike in Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal area and were “optimistic” he was killed.
