Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) told reporters Tuesday that he intends to move the five agreed-to nominees “late next week or early the following week” with simultaneous votes on all of them.

Reid expressed optimism about confirming the three pending nominees to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, which have also run into Republican opposition.

“We’ll take those one at a time. We’re talking about executive nominees,” he said. “Those are going through the process but we’ll see. … I think there’s a good feeling in the Senate — the best feeling we’ve had in a long time.”
