Rasmussen Tracking: Obama Ties Romney

President Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney are tied in Friday’s edition of the Rasmussen national tracking poll as both candidates get 48 percent of likely voters. In Thursday’s release, Romney held a 2-point advantage over the president, 49 percent to 47 percent. 

The race remains a dead heat as election day approaches.

The Rasmussen national tracking poll uses 1,500 automated interviews with likely voters, 500 a day over the three previous days. It has a sampling error of 3 percent.
